Three small balls of fluff are starting to explore their surroundings at Tbilisi Zoo.

White lion Cleopatra and her three cubs came out of their den and walked around their enclosure for Zoo visitors today.

The cubs were very curious and explored their new home with excitement. The cubs’ father, Samuel, watched over them with a cautious eye.

Cleopatra's cubs are now almost six month, but to see newborns in picture look at Agenda's photo gallery.

The new cubs and other Zoo animals will be on show tomorrow when the Zoo holds a tour for media representatives.

Journalists will get the chance to see the new white lion cubs, hand-feed a Lemur named Tapir and enjoy a new ropes adventure park – the first in the Caucasus.

On June 10 Tbilisi Zoo staff will travel to Yerevan, Armenia, to pick up a male elephant. The elephant will be brought to Tbilisi Zoo to undergo surgery on his tusks.

Once the elephant arrives at the Zoo, Journalists will be invited to watch a British expert lead the operation on the elephant’s tusks.

Later this month Tbilisi Zoo are expecting to welcome African penguins and leopards to the Zoo’s collection of animals.
