Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibahsvili expects numerous of investors to enter the Georgian market this year.
The Georgian leader summed up his five-day trip to the Davos World Economic Forum at the beginning of a Governmental meeting today. He said everyone he spoke admitted Georgia had achieved unprecedented success in the past year.
"Our visit to Davos was very successful,” Garibashvili said.
One development to come from his attendance in Davos was Georgia’s invitation to host the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Board meeting in 2015. The Prime Minister assessed the scheduled meeting as exceptional not only for Georgia but for the whole region.
"I would like to say that everyone is hopeful of Georgia’s current Government and they admit that the Georgian Dream achieved unprecedented and obvious success during the past year,” Garibashvili said at the Governmental meeting.
The annual 2014 World Economic Forum event was held in Davos, Switzerland from January 22-26.
