Georgian freestyle wrestler Andro Margishvili claimed a gold medal at the Under-23 European Wrestling Championships in Bucharest on Sunday, bringing the total claimed by Georgian athletes at the tournament to six.
Margishvili became the gold medal winner after defeating Turkey’s Muhammed Gimri 7:1 in the 92 kg category.

Earlier on Sunday, Vladimer Gamkrelidze claimed a silver in the 79 kg category, while bronze medals went to Luka Gvinjilia (57 kg), Goga Otinashvili (65 kg), Davit Patsinashvili (70 kg) and Giorgi Gogrichiani (65 kg).
The combined results earned Georgia 115 points and the third place at the contest.
