Georgian Greco-Roman wrestlers won one gold and three bronze medals on Saturday at the European Wrestling Championships in Zagreb.
Leri Abuladze defeated his Azerbaijani rival Taleh Mammadov by 5:1 in the final and became the European Champion for the second time in a row in the 63 kg category of the tournament.
Nugzar Tsurtsumia, Lasha Gobadze and Iakob Kajaia claimed bronze medals in their respective weight categories, defeating Armenian, Azerbaijani and Romanian wrestlers in the final matches for third place.
Recently, Georgian athletes in freestyle wrestling have also claimed six medals at the European Championship, including one gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
