The Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia on Saturday said it had purchased 567 new European standard firefighting masks.
Temur Mgebrishvili, the Head of the Emergency Service, along with other senior officials of the Service, inspected the new firefighting equipment and got acquainted with its technical characteristics.
The Service noted the modern firefighter equipment with a “wide panoramic face mask and a lightweight air breathing apparatus” was “effective and convenient” in the firefighting process.
It added the Emergency Management Service “actively” continued “to upgrade special equipment”.
