Relations between Iceland and Georgia and prospects of future cooperation were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Guðni Jóhansson, the President of Iceland.
The meeting focused on sectoral cooperation in “various fields”, the Government Administration said.
The officials highlighted the importance of further exchange of visits and active partnership on international platforms.
The meeting also reviewed the relations between the two countries in trade, economy, energy and tourism.
