The Georgian national rugby team defeated Romania on Saturday with a score of 43:5 in the semi-finals of the Rugby Europe Championship in Tbilisi and will play in the final match on March 17.
The team, coached by British Richard Cockerill, claimed the victory following seven tries, including three by Akaki Tabutsadze, and each by Mirian Modebadze, Vano Karkadze, Luka Ivanishvili and Demur Tapladze.

Davit Niniashvili and Tedo Abzhandadze also contributed each with two accurate conversion kicks for the Lelos, who simultaneously won the Antimoz Iverieli Cup for the eighth time in a row, as Georgia and Romania have been traditionally playing for this Cup since 2002. Out of 24 games, Georgia has won the Iverieli Cup 18 times.

The opponent of the Georgian team will be revealed on Sunday in the second semi-final match between Portugal and Spain.
The final match of the European Rugby Championship will be held in Paris on March 17.
