The Defence Cyber Marvel 2024, the joint cyber training exercise of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the Army Cyber Association of the British Armed Forces, has ended.
The final event of the training, which focuses on the development of cyber defence skills and the sharing of existing experience in the field of cyber security, was addressed by the Georgian Deputy Defence Minister Davit Sujashvili and the British Ambassador to Georgia Mark Clayton.
The one-week exercise programme, held at the Defence Institution Building School in Tbilisi, included simulation scenarios of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and information systems, the Defence Ministry said.
The exercise is aimed at developing cyber defence capabilities and establishing a sustainable cyber security system in the field of defence, as well as compatibility with NATO and the European Union standards.
