Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, along with other Government officials, on Saturday attended the UEFA Nations League game between the national football team and Ukraine held at the Adjarabet Arena Stadium in the country’s Black Sea city of Batumi.
The Georgian team, coached by Willy Sagnol, in its fifth match of the tournament, drew 1:1 with Ukraine.
The centre-back Solomon Kvirkvelia scored an own goal in the seventh minute of the game, handing Ukraine the lead. The equaliser was netted by forward Georges Mikautadze in the 76th minute.
Georgia will face Czechia in the closing fixture of the pool on Tuesday at the Andrův stadion in the city of Olomouc.
