The Georgian national football team on Tuesday defeated Albania in their second match of the UEFA Nations League at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana.
The team, coached by Willy Sagnol, claimed the 1:0 victory through the goal scored by midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili in the 71st minute of the game.
The team scored the win after defeating Czechia 4:1 in their opening match of the tournament last week at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Georgia's capital Tbilisi.
The result sees Georgia lead Group B1 standings with six points. They will face Ukraine in their next fixture on October 11.
