The Georgian national football team delivered an overwhelming victory over the Czechia in the UEFA Nations League Group B1 match on Saturday at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in the capital Tbilisi.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a Georgian winger, scored the opening goal by hitting the penalty into the bottom-right corner in the 33rd minute of the game.

Georgia doubled its lead 7 minutes into the second half with attacking midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze’s strike and who netted another goal 10 minutes later, making it a double.

Crusaders widened their lead further in the 66th minute with a fourth goal by Giorgi Kochorashvili, central midfielder.

The Czech team managed to score a consolation goal in the 80th minute with Lukas Kalvach’s shot.

The match was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and other government officials.
