Georgian entrepreneurs to benefit from Alibaba platform pavilion

Entrepreneurs from Georgia will benefit from a national pavilion on Alibaba.com, an international B2B platform with over 300 million users worldwide, Enterprise Georgia said on Wednesday.

The placement of the Georgian section on the platform was discussed in a meeting between Mikheil Khidureli, the Director of the state agency promoting entrepreneurship, investment and exports, and Alibaba’s head of international relations.

Khidureli noted the “very interesting and productive meeting”  at Alibaba headquarters in Hangzhou, China.

He said the agency aimed to have Georgia represented on the “world’s largest B2B platform” with its own national pavilion “as soon as possible”.
