French company Teleperformance, the world leader in the business process outsourcing industry, started operating in Georgia with the support and close cooperation of Enterprise Georgia, the state agency promoting entrepreneurship, investment and exports.
Enterprise Georgia said a high level of knowledge of various foreign languages, a well-educated workforce, favourable business environment and cost efficiency played a major role in the French company’s decision to invest in Georgia.
Mikheil Khidureli, the Director of the Agency, said Georgia created its own “niche” in the BPO industry and emerged as “a new competitive player” in the global customer service market.
Founded in 1978 in France, Teleperformance is known for its extensive experience in customer relationship management, content moderation, communication and telemarketing, with the company currently employing more than 410,000 people worldwide.
