Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday congratulated Mark Rutte on assuming the duties of the NATO Secretary General.

In his social media message, Kobakhidze stressed his Government was “ready to further support” the alliance and deepen existing cooperation.

“Congratulations to Mark Rutte. I wish him continued success in this important role. As an active contributor to NATO-led operations, Georgia, a reliable and steadfast partner, is ready to further support the alliance, deepen existing cooperation, and promote global peace and security”, the PM said.
