Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver shares Georgia's gastronomic delights to followers

The Georgian National Tourism Administration on Tuesday said Jamie Oliver, a popular culinary icon, had travelled to Georgia to explore the country’s cuisine through videos, narratives and photos.

The Administration cited Oliver as saying he found “unparalleled joy and inspiration” on his first visit to the country.

My time in Georgia has been nothing short of exceptional [...] The flavours, the people, everything in Georgia has motivated me to create new recipes. I can promise you that I will return to Georgia without a doubt”, he said.

During his visit, Oliver also took the opportunity to collaborate with a local chef to prepare traditional Georgian dishes.

With a fan base exceeding 20 million followers across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, Oliver visited the country as part of the Administration’s initiative for promoting Georgia as a visitor destination.
