Georgia’s US Ambassador reaffirms commitment to strengthening strategic partnership

David Zalkaliani, the Georgian Ambassador to the United States, on Thursday congratulated the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the country’s Independence Day.

Zalkaliani reaffirmed Georgia's “commitment” to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

“Today, I had the opportunity to personally congratulate Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Independence Day at the  State Department's Independence Day event. I conveyed my warmest congratulations to the Secretary and reaffirmed Georgia's commitment to strengthening strategic partnership”, he said in a social media message.

 

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday extended his congratulations to the US and its citizens on the 248th anniversary since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 by saying the date was “particularly important for us”.
