Azerbaijani FM to discuss bilateral, regional cooperation in Tbilisi visit

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will on Thursday pay an official visit to Georgia to discuss bilateral and regional cooperation with officials in the country.

Bayramov is scheduled to meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili, the Georgian foreign office said.

The meeting between the top diplomats will focus on the “agenda of bilateral cooperation and issues of regional cooperation”, the body added.

Within the framework of his visit, Bayramov will also lay a wreath at the memorial of heroes who died for the territorial integrity of Georgia, and will also pay his respects at the memorial of the late Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.
