Georgian PM meets Justice Ministry employees to discuss “progress in strengthening state institutions”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday met with employees of the Ministry of Justice to discuss steps taken by the country’s Government and progress in “strengthening state institutions”, the Government Administration said.

The Administration noted the meeting also reviewed “major infrastructural and investment projects planned in the country, future plans and main priorities of a new Government programme”.

Kobakhidze also discussed current domestic “political processes” and emphasised the importance of “reducing political polarisation [to] contribute to a healthy discussion on current matters for the country”.

The PM highlighted the “important role” of the Ministry in “strengthening the statehood”
and extended his gratitude to Minister Rati Bregadze and employees of the office.
