Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday met with employees of the Central Office of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and heads of organisations under the organisation to discuss current domestic “political processes”, their impact on the economy and other subjects, the Government Administration said.

The situation in the wider region and planned steps, including for further advancement of the country's European integration, were also reviewed.

Kobakhidze pointed out the special importance of the Ministry’s “effective activity” for the country’s economic growth and development.

Levan Davitashvili, the First Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy, emphasised the “special importance” of the meetings, saying it allowed public sector employees to receive “detailed information” from the Head of Government “about the most important decisions” for the country and development visions.
