Georgian Finance Minister, ADB officials discuss cooperation, future partnership

The current cooperation and future partnership between Georgia and the Asian Development Bank were discussed on Tuesday by Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and the executive directors of the ADB, Rachel Thompson and Lisa Wright.

At the meeting held on the sidelines of the 57th annual meeting of the ADB in Tbilisi, Khutsishvili briefed the officials about Georgia's economic position and implementation of projects supported by the Bank, the Finance Ministry said.

The conversation also touched on the progress achieved by Georgia, with ADB officials highlighting the structural and economic reforms implemented in the country and affirming the Bank’s support to Georgia in its advancement.

The executive directors expressed gratitude towards the Georgian Minister for holding the ADB Annual Meeting at “a high level”.
