Mathilda Gvarliani becomes first Georgian model in Models.com Top 50

Mathilda Gvarliani has become the first model from Georgia to be included in the top 50 of the world by Models.com, an influential fashion news site.

In its social media post, the website said it was welcoming 12 new models working with luxury designers, shooting with “legendary photographers” and ending up on magazine covers worldwide in its updated rankings of 2024.

In addition to Gvarliani, the list also includes Angelina Kendall, Apolline Rocco Fohrer, Colin Jones, Douta Sidibe, Ella Mccutcheon, Gendai Funato, Karolina Spakowski, Kristine Lindseth, Nonso Ojukwu, Rejoice Chuol and Tess Breeden.

With the ranking, Gvarliani moved up from the so-called “hot list” - showcasing outstanding newcomers of fashion - to the top 50.
