The deal included an updated emergency services application for citizens and a public information campaign for raising awareness on early marriage among schoolchildren.
The Deputy Minister extended his gratitude to the UNFPA for its contribution to the development of capacities of the Ministry.
The body also added Georgia had been cooperating with the UNFPA for “many years” for combating early marriage and violence against women and girls, among other projects.
