Robin Dunnigan, the United States Ambassador to Georgia, on Tuesday expressed her support for the Georgian national football team ahead of their final match of the Euro 2024 qualifying stage against Greece.
In a video message, Dunnigan wished “good luck” to the squad coached by Willy Sagnol in what would be their first claim of a spot at a major international tournament.
“Good luck to Georgia’s national team tonight. We, the American Embassy, will all be rooting for you”, the diplomat said.
A win against Greece in the final qualifier will give the team a place at the upcoming European Championship.
