Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Friday noted that “friendly” meetings with the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein Daniel Risch and Albert Frick, the President of the Landtag of Liechtenstein, were a demonstration of the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
In his comments to the media over his visit to Liechtenstein, Papuashvili said he had received support from the country on Georgia’s European integration, adding despite Liechtenstein not being a European Union member state, it was an “important” participant of the economic union.
The Parliament Speaker highlighted the importance of maintaining the growing dynamic and developing partnership and friendly relations with Liechtenstein.
As part of his visit to the country, Papuashvili discussed parliamentary ties, trade and economic cooperation with the PM of Liechtenstein.
He also reviewed the fruitful cooperation within the framework of international organisations with his Liechtensteiner counterpart, while also pointing out partnerships in various sectors, Georgia’s EU integration and security challenges in the Black Sea region.
