Parliamentary ties, trade and economic cooperation were discussed on Friday in a meeting between the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Daniel Risch, the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein during the former’s visit to the country.

Papuashvili highlighted the significance of his first official visit to Liechtenstein and thanked the host party for its support of the territorial integrity of Georgia, the Georgian Parliament said.  

He also reviewed the European Integration agenda, reforms and further activities of the Georgian Government.

Risch thanked the Georgian side for supporting priorities and activities of the presidency of Liechtenstein in the Council of Europe and extended the commitment to further supporting Georgia-related resolutions within the United Nations and the CoE.

The officials also highlighted intensification of trade and economic links between their states.
