Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Friday said his Government would continue to implement projects of regional importance to make the country's role “visible” in connecting East and West and make the South Caucasus region “even more efficient and effective”.
In his remarks at the ninth Georgia-Turkey-Azerbaijan tripartite cooperation format meeting in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku, Darchiashvili said there were “many and well-known” regional projects that would allow the South Caucasus to “play a natural role” and connect Europe with Asia “more effectively”.
The meeting was hosted ahead of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday paying an official visit to Azerbaijan.
