Georgia to host Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Trilateral Defence Ministerial 2024

Georgia is set to host the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Trilateral Defence Ministerial in 2024, the Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani announced on Tuesday after his meeting with Ramil Usubov, the Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan.

Chikovani and Usubov highlighted the importance of strategic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Defence Ministry said.

The officials noted that bilateral cooperation in defence between the two countries was being “intensively” maintained according to the annual plan.

The Georgian Defence Minister affirmed his country’s readiness to contribute to the process of establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.
