Strategic relations between Georgia and the United States were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between Tornike Rizhvadze, the head of the Government of Georgia’s western region of Adjara, and Robin Dunnigan, the United States Ambassador to the country.
The meeting noted the strategic partnership between the two countries was “at the highest level”, and that the ties were “very important for the interests” of their governments, as well as for the region and “Euro-Atlantic security”, the Adjara Government said.
The officials also reviewed Georgia's aspiration for EU integration, the progress already achieved for the purpose and plans still to be implemented for the outcome.
