US Ambassador highlights Georgians’ “tremendous achievement” of attaining EU candidate status in her New Year message

Robin Dunnigan, the United States Ambassador to Georgia, on Sunday said as the New Year was coming, she wanted to once again congratulate all Georgians for the tremendous achievement the country made this year in attaining the European Union membership candidate status in December.
In her New Year message, on behalf of the US Embassy team in Tbilisi, Dunnigan wished all Georgians “a joyous New Year filled with love, good health, peace, and happiness”, noting the Embassy was proud to support the partnership between the US and Georgia.
We Americans at the embassy are so lucky to live in this beautiful country. We all have a deep appreciation for Georgia's rich culture, tradition of hospitality, and most of all the wonderful and warm people”, she added.
