Georgian PM, new Ambassador to Czech Republic review bilateral ties

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Thea Maisuradze, the country’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Czech Republic, on Tuesday reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries. 

Highlighting the “dynamically developing” relations between the states in their meeting at the PM’s office, the officials also pointed to their “fruitful cooperation” within international organisations, the Government press office said. 

The meeting also discussed the existing cooperation in economy, energy, tourism and education sectors. 

Having served as Georgia’s Ambassador to Latvia over the recent years, Maisuradze also assumed positions in the country’s foreign office since 2009.
