Georgian Deputy Economy Minister Genadi Arveladze is participating in the ministerial meeting of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris, under the theme of Promoting and Enabling Responsible Business Conduct in the Global Economy, the Economy Ministry said on Tuesday.

At the session, Arveladze will present a report on the possibilities of digitalisation of the economy in Georgia to the ministers and deputy ministers of the OECD member and non-member countries, as well as to the representatives of international and financial institutions.

The Deputy Minister is also set to hold a bilateral meeting with Andreas Schaal, the Director of OECD Global Relations, to discuss priority areas of further cooperation between Georgia and the organisation. The OECD Eurasia Week, planned to be held in June in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi, will also be part of the conversation.
