Italian singer Stefano Signoroni and his band will perform at the unveiling of the main Christmas tree of Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi next week, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced on Wednesday.
Kaladze said the event would also involve a special theatre show on the story of Christmas and the tradition of Christmas trees.
He said Orbeliani Square and recreational areas of Dedaena Garden park would host a Christmas Village decorated with festive installations, with visitors invited to a “diverse festival” of food and sweets, an ice rink, an entrepreneurial and agricultural market and musical performances by Georgian artists.
