Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze congratulated New Year to all Georgians, as well as Abkhazian and Ossetian compatriots living in the occupied territories of Georgia, wishing peace, love and prosperity to all the families around the world, from the country’s “beautiful” and “tolerant” capital city Tbilisi.

Peace is the “most precious and important” at present as the whole world has been facing some big challenges, Kaladze said at the New Year’s Eve concert featuring dozens of performers at Tbilisi’s riverside Europe Square, and wished peace to everyone, especially to Ukrainian people.

It is said that wishes come true on this magical night and let's wish a real festive celebration to all those people, all those families who are in the most trouble today”, Kaladze noted.
