Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi will host the 2025 World Fencing Championships, the Fencing Federation of Georgia announced on Saturday.
The International Fencing Federation Congress, hosted in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh, selected Georgia’s capital, with 120 votes, as a host city for the Championship.

The annual fencing championship, held since 1921, includes individual and team competitions in foil, epee and sabre for men and women.
