Georgian Interior Minister, Azerbaijani Ambassador discuss ties, law enforcement cooperation

Georgian Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri on Friday hosted Faig Guliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, and the country’s newly appointed Police Attaché Adil Baghirov, to discuss bilateral ties and existing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two states. 

The meeting at the Ministry office highlighted the importance of “intensive law enforcement cooperation” and the role of police attachés in further strengthening of partnership, the Ministry said. 

The parties also discussed future prospects and expressed their readiness to intensify ties, the body added.
