Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency has announced a ₾25,000 ($9,264) co-financing grant competition for eastern Kakheti and central Kvemo Kartli regions with the aim of promoting and strengthening local innovative and technological ecosystems, the Agency said on Monday.
Individuals and legal entities registered in the regions have been asked to submit applications through the electronic portal www.grants.gov.ge until November 9.
Proposals will be evaluated by a commission staffed by invited experts, while winning startups will undergo special training courses, including market research and market entry strategy.
Non-registered individuals who pass the competition will be asked to register before signing a grant agreement, the GITA added.
