Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Thursday discussed existing security challenges in the transatlantic area in a meeting of foreign ministers of the region’s countries on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Hosted at the invitation of the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the discussion also featured Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General and Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union, the Georgian foreign office said.
The discussion about the challenges also saw the officials review ways of overcoming them.
