Georgian Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri on Monday hosted Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and his delegation at the offices of the Emergency Response Centre in capital Tbilisi.
Marking Aripov’s first official visit to the country, his introduction to the Centre’s operations involved a “comprehensive information” provided to the delegation by the Minister, the Interior Ministry said.
Management of emergency assistance and operation of video surveillance systems for ensuring traffic safety were also included in the tour.
Gomelauri also demonstrated to the visitors the electronic monitoring system used to combat domestic violence across the country.
