Georgia’s Under-20 national rugby team on Tuesday defeated Italy in the final round of the group stage of the World Under-20 Championship, winning their pool and booking qualification for the playoffs.
The junior Lelos led the score 18:10 in the first half and claimed the victory with the final score of 30:17 and a bonus point, ensuring the top spot in Pool C with nine points.

Argentina finished second in the pool with five points, ahead of the host team and Italy, who both scored the same amount but finished behind the Pumas on further stats.
The World Championship is running through July 14.
