The Georgian Interior Ministry on Friday said it was investigating a clash between supporters of the ruling Georgian Dream and the opposition United National Movement parties in Georgia’s town of Kaspi.
Earlier yesterday, the UNM Chair Levan Khabeishvili held a meeting with locals of Kaspi, during which the confrontation between Georgian Dream and UNM supporters took place.
In his comments to the media, Khabeishvili alleged that GD activists had “damaged his car, thrown stones and interfered with journalists’ work”.
