Trade and economic aspects of the cooperation between Georgia and Hungary were discussed on Friday between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Zsolt Semjén, the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary.

The officials reviewed the prospects of deepening the ties between the two countries, the Government Administration said.

 

In their meeting, they noted the joint declaration on strategic partnership, signed last year between the sides, had demonstrated their “outstanding” relations.

The Government head thanked the Hungarian official for his Government’s “strong support” on the European Union granting its membership candidate status to Georgia.
