Gov’t meeting discusses job support, migration, healthcare for improving demographic trends

The Council for Demographic Issues of Georgia met on Thursday to review challenges and opportunities in employment, healthcare, migration and education in a bid to develop plans for improving demographic trends in the country.

The Government Administration said the Council’s meeting involved discussion on developing and implementing “various programmes” and improving current initiatives for the objective.

As part of the work, the country’s Health Ministry will present a bill for related efforts at the next meeting of the body.
