Georgia’s capital Tbilisi has been hosting Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week from May 4 to 8, for the first time after a three-year break caused by the pandemic, with Georgian and foreign designers showcasing their autumn-winter collections.

The Fashion Week is attended by more than 50 high-profile guests, including representatives of international press and fashion magazines from Vogue, Elle, Forbes, Guardian, New York Times, etc.
In its article, Vogue magazine hailed the return of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi “in physical form”, highlighting Georgia’s capital as “one of the bigger fashion weeks outside of New York, London, Milan and Paris, attracting international press and buyers”.

Besides the fashion shows, performances, various master classes, exhibitions and panel discussions by international fashion and art experts are held within the Fashion Week, hosted for the first time by the multi-functional art, culture, design and fashion space - Factory Tbilisi.

Tbilisi has been hosting Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week since 2012, with the aim to promote the development and popularisation of Georgian fashion, both throughout the country and beyond its borders.
