Permanent Representatives of Benin, Comoros, Congo, Dominican Republic, Libya and Saint Lucia to the United Nations got acquainted with Georgia’s tourism potential with David Bakradze, the country’s Permanent Representative to the UN, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Tuesday.
Bakradze and Tamar Koriauli, the First Deputy Head of the Administration, hosted the Permanent Representatives in Georgia’s ancient capital Mtskheta and introduced interesting tourist destinations to them.
Koriauli briefed the foreign diplomats on the dynamics of the restoration of the tourism and aviation sectors in Georgia after the pandemic and shared the country’s achieved progress.
Georgia has been hosting the Permanent Representatives of different countries to the UN for several years, with the aim to popularise the country’s development, economic opportunities and reforms.
