Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili on Monday met officials from the Asian Development Bank ahead of the ADB’s 56th annual meeting opening tomorrow in Incheon, Korea.
The Ministry of Finance said Khutsishvili met the ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa and the Executive Director Rachel Thompson to review cooperation and outline future cooperation prospects.

At the meetings, the Minister highlighted the progress achieved by the Georgian Government in structural and economic reforms, while ADB officials confirmed their continued support for the country.
During both meetings, the Georgian official reviewed the current economic conditions of Georgia and the implementation process of ADB-supported projects in the country.

In comments on future cooperation, the sides emphasised the next annual meeting of the Bank, set to be held in Georgia in 2024.
