Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili will deliver an address at the annual Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments in Prague, the Parliament press office said on Sunday.
The Conference, aimed at “safeguarding and promoting” the role of parliaments, will be held on Monday and Tuesday and will focus on Russian aggression against Ukraine and the EU’s response in a broader geopolitical context.
Papuashvili is set to hold bilateral meetings with both representatives of the Czech Government and members of the country’s parliament. Georgian official will also meet with the speakers of the EU member state parliaments.
