Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili will visit Italy between today and Sunday to sign a declaration on the launch of a “high-level dialogue” between the two states, the Georgian foreign office said on Thursday.
Darchiashvili will meet his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani and sign the declaration on the initiation of the platform between the two governments, the body noted.
The initiative will also include an “executive programme” between the states in culture and science for the years 2023-2027.
Within the framework of the visit, the top Georgian diplomat will also hold meetings with representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of Italy.
