Tbilisi City Hall is launching a competition bringing together street art festivals and free creative activities to add “more fascinating works and tourist attractions” to the capital city, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced on Wednesday.
Kaladze said projects submitted through the platform would be implemented in the city throughout the year, adding “more interesting artworks” and aiming to become “important tourist attractions”.
Submissions will be accepted throughout this month, with detailed information on the project to be made available through the City Hall website.
The Mayor also noted over 70 works had been created by Georgian and foreign street art artists in various places of the city over the previous four years, with the City Hall supporting the initiatives.
