Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out at the third and fourth floors of the four-storey building of Ambassadori Hotel, in the central part of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said on Friday.
The body said, fire was completely extinguished with 16 fire-rescue crews of the Emergency Situations Management Service and various other units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remaining at the scene to ensure safety.
No injuries have been reported, with guests evacuated from the building shortly after the fire broke out.
The cause of the fire is not known yet. The investigation is underway.
