Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Thursday told Mircea Geoană, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, his country remained committed to Euro-Atlantic integration.

In their meeting in Brussels ahead of a NATO-Georgia Commission session, the FM also said his Government “highly appreciated” the alliance’s efforts to strengthen the country’s security and resilience, as well as for its support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Commission's annual meeting is expected to discuss Georgia's existing cooperation with NATO and plans for future “joint activities”, the country’s foreign office said early on Thursday.
